The book was later adapted by him for film and was directed by Steven Spielberg and was a box office success in 1975. Listed for auction is a signed copy of his book Jaws. The book is signed ''P Benchley'' and he added his shark sketch in black felt pen on the title page. The book is a soft cover, [4.25 x 7.00] with 278 pages, a First Ballantine Books Edition, fourth printing, overall, in excellent condition with trivial wear and even toning to the pages.
