Description: I AM NOT SELLING A KIT, only new, full-size copies of BOTH kit PLANS & parts patterns for a Jasco 36" span and a Jetco 30" span THERMIC TROOPER towline glider(s). The Jasco THERMIC TROOPER 36" span tow-line or high-start launch glider from the 1940s was one of the first models Pop built as a boy. It flew so well that we still have it today. Pop had many memories he loved to share: “When the tiny K & B Infant .02 engine came out, I cut the nose off my TROOPER at the edge of the wing mount, glued on a thin plywood firewall, screwed the little .02 on, fired it up and let it go. That "World's smallest engine" was so weak that it would only haul the Jasco TROOPER to about 100 feet. Then it just flew in circles until the fuel ran out! What a thrill for a little boy!” The Jetco THERMIC TROOPER came along much later and has a 30" span and simplified construction. I am offering BOTH a 100% size copy of my original vintage 36" span Jasco THERMIC TROOPER kit PLAN, a copy of the original printwood parts patterns from my 65-year-old kit, AND a 100% size copy of the 30" Jetco THERMIC TROOPER kit PLAN with its parts patterns.
