Description: Japanese Fukugawa Hand Painted Vintage Stoneware Wall Pocket w Siberian Iris 12" I would say that this is the coolest wall pocket I've ever seen and I'm fairly certain that this has never been used. There are no signs of wear and there are no water marks. The sconce has a square hole to hang it by, which is unusual in itself. Also, most American companies would have used a bearded iris, because at the time that this was produced, (c1940), that's about the only iris we were familiar with. But this, this is a Siberian Iris. My favorite. And this stoneware wall pocket is HUGE! You can put quite a few iris in here. You won't be disappointed It measures 11 3/4"H x 4 1/8"W x 3 3/4"D.
