Description: SANTANA LOTUS JAPANESE 7 INCH PAPER SLEEVE 3 CD.SACD Multi 5.1CH / Stereo Hybrid DiscThis live recording of the Osaka shows on July 3 and 4, 1973 features the young Santana Band at the peak of their powers performing in front of a Japanese audience, and the artwork on the unparalleled scale of the "22-sided jacket," which was later certified as a Guinness World Record, is still a landmark in Japan. This is a milestone work of "Live in Japan" that is still talked about to this day. The album has a special meaning for Santana fans in Japan, as the Japanese handled everything necessary for the production of the record, including planning, recording, photography, and design. The analog multi-tapes that were actually used in the recording of "The Legend of the Lotus" were discovered late last year to have been stored for many years in a warehouse of Sony Music in Japan, and have been brought out of the warehouse for the first time in 44 years. Although some reels were lost for one reason or another, most of the recordings of the two concert days were found to be in such good condition that it was hard to believe that they were tapes from the 1970s.The seven songs that were unavoidably cut at the time due to the number of minutes on the analog LPs have been preserved, and seven songs (about 35 minutes) that were not on the original LPs, "Japan," "Bambele," "Um Um Um," "Sacred Light," "The Creator Has a Master Plan," "Saver," and "Conga Solo," have been newly added to the album. The addition of these seven new tracks (approximately 35 minutes) brings the complete set of songs performed in Osaka to this release. These excavated recordings were mixed by Tomoo Suzuki, an engineer who has worked on many famous recordings, including the original "The Legend of Lotus" and "Live in Japan" by Beck Bogart & Apis. The mix was carefully selected and mixed with the right equipment and cables to ensure that the sound was as natural and dynamic as possible, while preserving the natural and dynamic sound image of the analog tapes. The seven pieces (songs) that were missing from the original recording have been beautifully placed in the actual order of the songs, and the complete performance, from beginning to end, has been brought back to life as a "complete version" of a rare masterpiece.[●High-quality sound hybrid disc with two layers: SACD with DSD 11.2MHz mastering and CD directly converted from the DSD master ●SACD4.0 is a surround mix disc that gives you the realistic feeling of listening at the actual live concert venue ●Guinness World Record "22-sided jacket" (design: Tadanori Yokoo) reissued in 7-inch size faithfully to the original LP ●Color portrait enclosed in the original LP, non-transcription of the original LP, and a color portrait of the original LP The Guinness World Record 22-sided jacket (designed by Tadanori Yokoo) is reissued in 7-inch size, faithfully reproduced in its original form.
