Description: Here we have the January, 1956 edition of the annual Prep, the year book of Lane Tech High School (Chicago, Illinois.) Lane Tech remains open today, and is one of the most prestigious schools in the Chicago Public Schools system, probably because it now serves children of all genders, not just boys as it did then ;) We have lots of interesting and rare vintage and antique ephemera and collectibles in our "Lost Chicago" section of our store, to which we add new inventory daily, and we're always happy to combine shipping at actual cost. Vintage: January, 1956 Condition: Our photographs reveal the condition best -- please enlarge and zoom in on them, and examine them carefully. We often add graphics such as arrows, circles, and text boxes to our photos to point out things of interest that might be hard to see, such as a price tag or maker's mark, as well as to highlight many condition flaws. Very clean and fresh piece in excellent condition for its age. Light surface wear to the covers, with some tearing at the spine, but only to the cover, with no damage to the spine. Interior is very clean, with only a few instances of writing. No funky odors. We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report.
