Items are directly inspired by her wildlife paintings. A native of New York, Lynn Chase graduated from Bennett College and completed her studies at the New York School of Interior Design. In the 1970s she traveled extensively throughout Africa sketching and photographing wildlife. A self-taught painter, Lynn Chase displayed her paintings in one-woman and group-exhibitions at galleries across the country and abroad throughout the 1970s and 1980s. In 1988 she launched Lynn Chase Designs. One of her first patterns, Jaguar Jungle, continues to be a best seller.
