The periwinkle color is a very unique color belonging to the blue-lavender group. As a bit of trivia (which I always like), periwinkle has its name is derived from the lesser periwinkle or myrtle herb which bears flowers of the same color. These are very nice swirls on the one side of the marble, then the other unique color is that lavender swirl...it is just yummy. The gold dusting of lutz is evenly spread over the marble to give a mint example of an Odyssey marble. Enjoy. I try to rotate my marbles and provide high resolution pictures with my DSLR camera and flash. This marble was made on the 3/4" marble machine and it measures huge 0.784" in diameter with a pair of electronic calipers.
