Description: JABO Christmas 2011 MarbleCollector SeriesAventurine Lutz OxbloodMINT Run Date: 12/15/11 This JABO Christmas (aka "Dave's Christmas") marble run done in 2011 produced some very unique and colorful looking marbles. There is not much information about this run except that it was a tribute to Alan Bassinet. Also, it was a very nice run, but it was cut short when a piece of brick fell into the bushing. This turned it from a full production run into a smaller boutique marble run. Lucky for the few collectors that were able to put their hands on some of these little gems. Here you will find a couple of these marbles in mint condition to add to the discerning collections. This particular marble is one of those rare beauties that is very hard to find. This has an opaque bright ivory base glass that sets the perfect foundation for a wild color pallette of emerald green aventurine and chestnut red oxblood. There are actually a couple of dots of confetti colors on this marble that give it the right to be classified as a Guinea, but it is only barely a Guinea. See the last couple of pictures for that pink piece of glass and orange piece of glass. On top of these sparse Guinea colors, we also have chunks of gold lutz. This collector marble really has it all. You won't be disappointed with this little gem for sure...it's a keeper. This run seldom comes up for sale on eBay. This marble was made on the 3/4" marble machine. I try to rotate the marble to give all the different angles. I use a Canon Rebel DSLR camera with built-in flash to take high resolution pictures to show as much detail as possible. This marble is 0.732" in diameter as measured with a pair of electronic calipers.
