He was a congressman from South Florida - the area around Ft. Lauderdale from the 1970s. One pin has a white-out correction. The earlier pin (?) has a rusted back that has stained the front. Pin are about 2 inches wide. Condition: Used. Good. Some rust and rust stains to front. Surface scratches. White-out correction. Evidently his arrest at a bar in Dania, FL in 1978 became the basis for the novel Strip Tease by Carl Hiaasen, which was made into a film starring Burt Reynolds and Demi Moore.
