J. A. Stein HyperHandle Cassette Holding Tool replaces a chain whip-Made in USA

Description: This is the latest version of the tool I developed to make removing cassette lockrings much easier and faster than the ungainly chain whip. You simply use what ever side of the tool that matches the smallest cog on the cassette. I find that the simplest way to use the tool is to put your cassette lockring driver (preferably the one I make that has a pin and a 3/8" drive) through the hole of the HyperHandle and then slide the pin into the axle of the hub. Everything should simply line up and the pins of the HyperHandle will lock into place. Then it is simply a matter of unscrewing the lockring and this is made easier if you are using a ratchet to turn the driver. Alternatly, you can place the driver in a bench vise with the pin point up and put the HyperHandle over the driver then drop the hub axle over the pin and then simply rotate the Hyperhandle to unscrew the lockring. Super easy! The latest version has pins on one side for the 11 tooth cogs which still seem to be the most common and the opposite side has holes which can accommodate pins which will engage 10 or 12 tooth cogs. It requires an Allen wrench to change the pins, just use the triangle or square marked holes. The tool is available with the standard tubular steel handle or the much nicer oak insert wood handle. Both will do the same job.
