Description: Up for sale is a beautiful and rare IWC INGENIEUR MECAQUARTZ CHRONOGRAPH watch with an alarm. It is stainless steel with an 18K gold bezel. The watch contains a Jaeger LeCoultre 3805 calibre movement (number 2557005) containing 27 jewels. It has a COSC certified chronometer and 2 quartz-controlled step motors. The movement has been hailed as a technical marvel in that it uses a quartz stepper motor coupled to mechanically drive the chronograph and alarm functions, all within a case that is only 35mmx8.5mmx4.2mm. The watch has a sapphire crystal and is water resistant up to 30M. The watch was made from 1991-97. It was discontinued in 2001. The watch is in excellent condition and the case has never been polished. Comes with an extra link and a copy of the operating instructions. USA sales only
