Description: Offered is this lovely hand-painted semi-vitreous china dinnerware soup tureen with lid, ladle and underplate, made in Italy. The large tureen will hold 3 quarts of soup, stew, chowder or chili. All the pieces are decorated with fruit, foliage, and blue ribbons and bows on a white blank. The footed tureen rests snugly on the base of the oval platter. The large soup bowl measures 14 inches (35.5 cm) from handle to handle. It stands about 9 inches tall (23 cm) to the top of the finial. The oval platter or underplate measures 15.25 inches long (39 cm) and 13.25 inches wide (34 cm). This set is in very good used condition. No chips or cracks.
