This has Gold wash / Gilt finish, called Vermeil, made in Genoa, Italy. It is fine 800 coin silver tested and marked on backside, butterfly shaped, delicate Filigree, Plique a Jour / Enamel. Dimensions are approx. 1.3" x 0.9" x 0.6" , weights 4 grams in the store's scale. The brooch is hallmarked 800 (silver purity) and the Italian hallmark used from 1944 till 1968. The hallmark is the mark of Genoa Jeweler Alioto Adriana ( 79 GE ). Also the brooch is in Adriana's catalog.It is in excellent antique condition, free of damage, enamel looks free of damage, the clap is fully functional, woks perfect (visible in picture).
