The newer more 'Eighties' direction and recording techniques (as popularized on 'Between The Sheets') were not a comfortable place for the elder Isleys but Ernie Isley, Chris Jasper and Marvin Isley jumped into the deep end and did not look back. 'Look The Other Way' was a perfect record for its time, got tons of airplay and climbed into the top 15 of the R&B charts and carried the album along with it. Other standout tracks include the ballad 'Serve You Right' and the danceable 'Kiss And Tell' (its 12 inch version is included as a bonus track).
