Description: Painted bronze or cast iron commemorative piece for IOOF (the Independent Order of Odd Fellows). Shows emblems and acronym of the organization (FLT - Friendship, Love & Truth). Surmounted by eagle, with the all seeing eye and hand-shake as other emblems. Framed by horseshoe. This probably dates to the very late 1800's or very early 1900's. I was pretty sure this was bronze until I realized the item was painted in places (in particular, handshake paint looks particularly good). Underside has a brass / bronze color, and I am unsure if that is painted or the unoxidized metal showing through. Dimensions: 7” Tall x 4.25” Wide x 1” Deep. Unpacked weight: 14.4 oz. Condition: Excellent giftable condition. No monograms, inscriptions, or engravings. Surface patina shows slight and consistent oxidation, which is normal and desirable. No attempt has been made to polish the piece. No corrosion, pings, dings, dents, bashes, flat spots, carbon spots, gauges, unusual scratches, or other mentionable issues.Always happy to pass through discounts on combined shipping.
