Description: Invent Almost Anything! by Jim Rowan, Sharon Rowan Think Like An Inventor Have you ever wanted to solve a problem and develop a patentable invention? Perhaps you had the urge to invent, but did not know how to do it. I have been asked in the past how I came up with my inventions. At first I had no idea how I got the ideas for inventing, but over the years I examined how I came up with new ideas. Then I decided to teach my method to some people who were not inventors. It worked. They, too, created new inventions. The "Think Like An Inventor" Webinar is designed to teach you how to come up with new invention ideas. I believe that, with training, most people can be inventive. This workbook takes you step by step through the invention process. If you would like to say someday, "I invented that," then spend some time with me (or this book) and find out how to Invent Almost Anything! Start to Think Like An Inventor. FORMAT Paperback LANGUAGE English CONDITION Brand New Author Biography Jim and Sharon Rowan are a writing team who are both military veterans. We have been married for thirty years, though it seems much longer! Just kidding. Patents and Inventions--Jim has three patents granted (by the USPTO), and twenty-two pending or in-process. This number could be a great deal larger; however to save money each patent encompasses as many claims as possible. The three granted patents are for a telephone device; magnetically levitated wind turbines and a steam system. He also has one non-credited invention, for the worlds first fully convergent telephone operator services system. When we are not busy writing, we are thinking up new and unusual technologies--some of which are in this book. We are working on the second Jupiter Fleet science fiction novel, called "Too Soon to Mars", which starts six months after "Werewolves Dont Purr." We are big fans of all kinds of science-fiction, and yes--that includes Star Trek. We have even been known to attend the occasional Comic-Con or Fan Expo. Jims favorite SF author is Robert A. Heinlein (keeping it old school), and Sharons favorites are Jim Butcher, John Ringo and Lois McMaster Bujold.
