Description: This auction is for a fantastic antique Steiff mohair growler elephant on wheels. It is in used condition obviously. I wasn’t able to find enough info on dating it but my feeling is early 1900’s. I’m leaving it up to the collectors to really know about the date. It is straw stuffed. It does have wear. The blanket is in excellent condition and is original. The growler still works ha it’s a miracle. No button in its ear. Please refer to the photos for measurements. I’m happy to answer questions so feel free to ask. This is a wonderful piece of toy history. Nothing has been done to this toy in over 50 years which is how long my mother owned it.
