Description: A beautiful piece of history. Ihagee Dresden Exakta VX IIa 35mm film camera with Carl Zeiss Jena Tessa 2.8/50mm lens and waist level viewfinder. Tessar lens is in very good condition with some internal dust specks, but no haze or fungus. Focus is silky smooth and the aperture ring detents on all aperture settings (f2.8 - f22). Comes with lens cap "Ernst Leitz Wetzlar Germany". Film transport is smooth Shutter speed changes with changes made on the shutter speed dial. The viewfinder is original ("Ihagee Dresden Germany"). in good condition and is bright. Camera is untouched. Would make a great addition to a collection. **PLEASE READ** This camera will need some work to be a serious shooter. The shutter curtains have pinhole light leaks. This could be a bonus if you are into Lomography. The Film transport lever is ever so slightly sluggish in returning to its home position. The leatherette is all intact but has a few bubbles on the back cover. Camera does not come with a take-up spool.
