Description: Baby doll with hard plastic head and stuffed latex rubber body, jointed arms and legs, separate fingers, molded hair, hazel sleep eyes, open/closed mouth, holes in nostrils. Marks; 18/IDEAL DOLL/MADE IN USA. The magic skin (latex rubber) has darkened but is in remarkably good shape for these dolls. This is the same doll as shown in my IDEAL DOLLS BOOK: 3rd edition on page 75. There is some rubs and spots on her face and neck (see photos). The dress is not original. Magic skin latex dolls were only made for a short time in the 1940s and early 1950s.
