This is a fabric ribbon Selectric I first introduced in the early 60’s and was made until the 70’s. Color is beautiful, mint condition gold or tan, original color Only $$$ 849.00 It has been disassembled, chemically washed, reassembled, re-oiled and re-greased , readjusted to factory specifications. Also has a NEW , “not repaired”, metal main drive hub (not the original plastic hubs that crack over time), operational shaft sleeve, new motor drive belt and RH tab pulley kit and transport pinions, and as needed worn parts. The center hub picture illustrates the new style metal main drive hub instead of plastic. Fully adjusted to factory specs. New fabric ribbon is included (a $30.00 value). Please note: This typewriter “does not” have the correcting feature like a SELECTRIC II. Shipping weighs approximately 45lbs. packed. Serial number is available upon request. Why is it so expensive?
