I have looked for extended warranty coverage and can not find. There were some issues at first. I was also told the warranty for service for new machine was only good where I purchased the machine or from the dealer.We moved quite often with work. However maintenance was always provided by any dealer. When my wife received the Embroidery Arm would not work. Took to dealer and they replaced. It was a software issue. There were also numerous soft ware issues between the Epic 3 and (mysewnet), which is a embroidery software program Viking recommends. All of the were resolved with software up dates which are current. My wife has owned 5 Husqvarna Viking machines including the Designer epic 1, 2, and 3, over the past 20 years. We have had no issues only regular maintenance. There are forums and groups to help on the internet to help with this Epic 3 along with Singer/Husqvarna .As with all of the sewing and embroidery machines there are always software issues and updates.I hope this helps. If you look at my feedback I take great pride in being an Excellent seller.I could never be 100 percent sure nothing will happen. I do work hard to do all I can do.
