Hummel figurine Hum 30 B "Ba-Bee-Ring (girl)" TMK 1 * RARE early CROWN prototype

Description: original Goebel Hummel figurine # Hum 30 B "Ba-Bee-Ring (Girl)" by Goebel rare early prototype Double crown mark * mid 1930s Diameter about 11 cm (about 4 1/4 inches). TMK 1 "Crown Mark". The figurine was made between 1935 and 1949. It has under the base a stamped, as well as an incised TMK 1 "Crown Mark" , is a so-called "double crown" figurine. The crown marks & M.I.Hummel signature can barely be seen, but they are there. This figurine was modeled by Reinhold Unger in 1935. This is a rare early prototype. Diameter is smaller than the later production figurines (about 4 1/4 inches v 4 3/4 inches), and also details like the bumble bee are different. There is a little paint rub, mainly on the right cheek. The figurine is well kept and in excellent condition with no damage, chips, crazing, repairs or the likes.
