Leave it out all year long at the end of the bed, or store it in a cedar chest to protect it year round. Age unknown, but this pattern was originally designed in the 1920's and reissued in the 80's. I'd put this piece in the latter age range. Measures approximately 84x70 and will look amazing on the back of your leather sofa, in a cabin or anywhere that needs a special warm blanket. I've fluffed it up in a cool dryer with a dry cleaning cloth. It doesn't smell like it came from a smokers house, but is musty and will require a professional cleaning. I'll pack it in a space bag to protect it from the elements but DO NOT leave it in the bag as its wool and needs to breathe.
