From day one, John Hubley emphasized toy and bank manufacturing. The first Hubley toys appeared in 1909 and were made of cast-iron Anything Hubley ever made was always made in Cast Iron. This cocker spaniel weighs 5 lb stands only 4 and 1/2 in tall and is 6 1/2 Long. Slight wear on the paint but overall great condition. A true antique. These from what I understand were considered to be toys at the time.
