This is the Windows-98 based bootable OS and oscilloscope software hard drive for HP Infinium first generation oscilloscopes: 54815A 54820A 54825A This model number (54810-83510) is the v3.5 hard disk for the older batch (AMI motherboards, HP branded) units. The hard disks between new(Agilent)/old(HP) batch does not mix. You'll get weird problems if you get the wrong software. NOTE: BY DEFAULT you will receive is a Windows 98 disk drive that will work correctly and is much better than the Windows 95 drives you have.There are no downsides except you'll have to provide at least 32MB of RAM to run Windows 98 (if you have this drive, chances are you have a configuration#1 unit, which has 16MB of memory, which is NOT enough). If you insist on skipping the memory upgrade and want to run the old Windows 95 (NOT recommended), let me know and I'll provide the disk with the Windows 95 image. Normal 2.5" SSD likely won't work on Atlas PCI-II (oldest configuration: #1) motherboard. That means I'll make sure I send you a mechanical drive. If you insist getting a SSD drive for your configuration#1 Infinium oscilloscope, there's a much more convoluted solution that involves more parts and labor.Search for "Upgrade HP Infinium Oscilloscope with 54810-66510" or contact me for details. If you have a newer batch (Agilent branded+FIC motherboard), you'll need the v4.5 hard disk, also know by the following numbers54810-8351554810-8351654810-8351754810-8351854810-8351954810-8352054810-8352154810-8352254810-83530 You will have to tell me what type of system you have before shipment (I'll have to know whether you want v3.5 or v4.5). By default, if you bid on 54810-68726, it will be loaded with the AMI configuration (v3.6). Note that if your motherboard is TOO OLD (Configuration#1: no VIN numbers, has Windows 95), you have to check with me first as it might not work out of the box if I just send you a SSD drive. This configuration/batch has so many quirks and might require some hardware upgrades beforehand.
