Description: House of Mist (Maria-Luisa Bombal, 1947 HCDJ) This book is in good condition. The dust jacket is in good condition for its age. The dust jacket has been protected by a plastic cover it looks like since new. The plastic covering/dust jacket were taped to the book at one time, but have separated since. The book shows signs of age or wear through spine/cover edge/corner rub, slight corner push, spine upper/lower edge rub/push, page edge rub or scuffs, page edge light soil/age spotting, a few edge nicks, and yellowing/tanning of pages. The back end page has a corner/edge fold. The outer page edges have a scuff/scratch. Some age spotting within pages. The back cover upper edge has a dent. Tape rust on inside cover and end pages. Previous owner label on the front end page. Very slight book push or spine roll. Hinges are not visible. All pages are intact. The dust jacket for the most part appears that it is in very good condition except for the tape/tape rust on the inside flaps and tape residue/remains on the front and back panels. There is no tackiness. The front inside flap corner is clipped even though there is a price on the lower corner. This book measures 7 5/8" x 5 5/16" x 15/16.
