Description: Based on my research this is a Hopi Kachina Long Hair sculpture. I bought this second-hand so I am not 100% sure of its origins or artisans. It appears to be hand carved and painted. Not exactly sure of the wood. It may be cottonwood. Measures approx. 17" tall counting the base. Has the characteristic slanted body. In nice condition. LONG HAIR is marked on the bottom of the base. Base also shows original retail price tag of $175.
