Published by the Grabhorn Press in October of 1927; the Press was run by brothers Edwin and Robert Grabhorn and was one of the most highly renowned private presses in America during the first half of the twentieth century. ___DESCRIPTION: Half parchment with black paper boards, title and illustration in grey inset on the front board, title page illustration by Valenti Angelo (repeated at colophon); hand-set Lutetia type, Whatman paper, quarto size (11 7/8" by 7 3/4"), [12] pages, one of 200 copies, unnumbered. ___CONDITION: Near fine, with a strong, square text block, solid hinges, the interior is clean and bright, and entirely free of prior owner markings; boards are clean overall with a few stray marks to the black paper boards and a few spots of foxing to the parchment, else fine.
