It seemed that, in the world, there had never been a greater and overwhelming love than theirs.After a few hours, however, the spell began to fade revealing the sorceress' actual features. When the young man saw her in all her gruesome ugliness, distraught with terror and horror, he tried to escape.The woman enraged by such a behavior, summoned all the forces of nature launching against the poor man a powerful curse.Indeed, it was not the first time that something like this had happened: all the fish in the lake were young men who, after refusing the witch’s attentions, had been enchanted by her.But Baldur was the only one with a privilege. Its sublime beauty was preserved even after the transformation making it the most beautiful goldfish in the world. THE PHANTASMAGORIAS Phantasmagorias are micro-cosmos in which ancient fairy tales and future legends thicken and intertwine, personal dreams and collective nightmares, atavistic memories and ancestral instincts, desires without a time and hopes without place.
