Description: This is a lovely Masonic edition Holy Bible, King James edition, published by the John A Hertel Co, made in USA, in 1957. It is a large book measuring 9.5x11.5" and it is nearly 3" thick and weighs 8 pounds. The black cover is a bit darker than it shows in the pictures (picture 3 is the most true representation). I think it is leather. There is a small mar in the leather on the spine (picture 5) and there is wear at all the corners. The gold lettering on the cover and spine is in good shape. The edges of the pages are gold-colored. There are gorgeous full-color illustrations throughout the book. No writing inside, including the presentation page. Features: a presentation page, pages for Masonic information, military service record, prayers, Free Masonry and the Bible, Order of the Eastern Star, Biblical index to Freemasonry, master reference, red letter, concordance, dictionary of the Bible, guide to the laws of the Bible, and much more.
