If you choose to play a hint card, you select one card from the hint cards laid out on the table that corresponds to your secret number, such as 14 or less, even, or two-digit, and place it in front of you. This serves as a clue for other players to guess your secret number. However, some hint cards have special effects, such as guess once without penalty or look at the top card of the secret number deck, which can be used strategically to gain an advantage in the game. If you decide to guess a secret number, you choose one player and state the number you think they have. If you are correct, you do not need to play a hint card for that round. However, if you are wrong, you must immediately play two hint cards. The game continues until players have guessed the required number of secret numbers: 3 cards in a 2-player game, and 2 cards in a 3-4 player game. The first player to guess the required number wins.
