Description: HO Brass Pacific Electric "200" Class Open-End Wood Trolley Coach. Produced by Kumata of Japan in 1988 for Oriental Ltd. #0543. EXCELLENTPacific Electric's early 20th Century roster included many of these 200-class open-ended City cars. They remained in this configuration until the teens, when the open sections were enclosed and the cars renumbered.The model test runs fairly well, with some characteristic noise from the all-brass gear drive. It has been stored for many years and will run even better with basic maintenance. There is no indication of wheel wear. Some minor tarnish is visible in a few spots. The model is provided with its original box and includes trolley poles and mounting hardware, as well as the fenders and seats. The original box is in equally excellent condition, although the original packing material has been replaced. Though Pacific Electric claimed this car on their roster, this well-built and nicely detailed all-brass model will make an ideal trolley for any early 20-th century downtown operation. Maybe yours?
