Description: This is a very nice set of John Richard Green’s History of the English People printed in 1889. The covers are marbled board with 1/4 Moroccan leather, gold gilt spine, and marbled page ends, inside boards, and end sheets. The binding is solid with normal wear on the boards and leather. The pages are tight and it looks like the books have not been opened frequently. I could not find another complete set of this particular set, making it a rare find. The marbling on the boards and inner page ends is beautiful. This is a really nice set of History of the English Peoples, covering 449 AD through 1815 AD.
