Description: The full title of this historical book is Elementary School Crafts 2 For Girls Ministry of Education Tokyo Shoseki Department 1948. As Japan moved away from being focused on war and aggression, there school literature changed in this period. From what I read in translated materials from Japan, this marked a change into focus on manufacturing. This is some of the new materials created for school children post WW2 Japan. The book absolutely shows its age and there is a lot of degradation due to it only having a paper cover. But this is an interesting piece of history if you poke around in it. I've included a couple of screenshots about the first edition of this book made in 1945. This is the second edition and it's made for girls in 48 #58
