Description: This oversized “Historical Atlas of Massachusetts” is for the person who loves pouring over historic maps, graphs, tables and statistics. 17 chapters break down the history of Massachusetts by “The Historical Landscape” and “The Political and Social Landscape”. It’s hard not to compare this volume to the classic 1970s “Everything You Wanted to Know About Sex…” just replace the sex with Massachusetts. This volume includes 2 transparencies to assist in locating cities and towns on maps within the atlas. There’s a Received stamp on the inside front cover that I can’t make out but there are no other markings indicating it’s ex-library. The dust jacket has some issues (in other words it did it’s job) but the book itself is in like new shape. Please scrutinize the pictures to judge condition for yourself and thanks for stopping by.
