Description: You are bidding on a highly upgraded 2022 Charvel DK-22 SSS model guitar that was converted to the guitar listed in this auction. A nearly new black DK-22 SSS guitar was modified by first removing the bridge and middle single coil routs, followed by the installation of a direct mount humbucker rout in the bridge position. The resultant body was then refinished using a glow-in-the-dark base under a black crackle paint. The guitar was reassembled and set up using the original factory roasted Charvel neck, hardware, and a set of humbucking Duncan pickups to upgrade the Duncan single coil pickups installed at the factory. The neck position pickup is now a noise cancelling STK-S1 neck model, versus the classic Seymour Duncan Custom Flat Strat® SSL-6 single-coil used by Charvel. This instrument is a truly one-of-a-kind Charvel guitar that would cost $1000's more if ordered through the Jackson/Charvel Custom Shop. A near mint form-fitting Charvel SKB type case (with Charvel embossing) is included with the guitar, along with the factory tremolo arm for the Gotoh bridge.
