The top of the page edge has a gold shine, and the spine and binding is tight. The cover is canvas and is colored a type of dark teal or coral green. Tiny stains are apparent, but it makes sense considering the age - Over 120 years old! - and there is the tiniest of cuts to the canvas on the cover. This is a must read, and a great collector's piece for the religous scholar, the classicist, the professor, or the aspiring student.
