With the extra material up top, it enhances controllability and shootability of the revolver, taming felt recoil upon firing, with faster follow-up shots due to less shift in the hand during firing, a more natural feel (similar to the classic revolvers made by Colt & S&W in the 1930s to the 1950s), and better repeatability of hand placement (which enhances accuracy).What these WILL FIT:Please note that these will ONLY fit the “Squarebutt” style gripframes, and will NOT fit the “Roundbutt” (Birdshead) style revolvers.
