Description: Handpainted "Heineken" Delft Blue Made in Holland ceramic mug with handle. Holds 16 oz and measures approximately 5-1/8" tall. Base is 3-3/8" in diameter, and with the handle it measures 5-1/4" across.The background of the mug is a bit more of a light cream color than pure white. One side of the mug features a sailboat, and the other is a Dutch country landscape with two windmills and a cottage. The central motifs are surrounded by a floral design. Undated, but definitely vintage and believed to be from the 1980s. There is a small 1/4" line of darker discoloration at the top of the handle on the sailboat side (it won't wash off and may be from the manufacturing process, or something rubbed against it in its previous home). It would not be very noticeable from a distance, doesn't affect usage, and doesn't detract much from displaying it. Has been stored in a nonsmoking home.
