This is what we discovered: It is significantly easier to work with a crimp leg. Because the wires can meander everywhere, they need to be locked into place before soldering. This is the only connector that provides this without gerrymandering with rigs. Many of the brands did not slide in and out of the headphone with an expected grace/tension. Some had to be ground down because of their excessive side protrusion. The Dream HD-800 fits superb! How do they sound? Fantastic! They offer 20% higher conductivity over the typical brass/diluted gold contacts we found on most connectors😮 This kit includes the Amphenol or Rean 1/4" trs in Black/Gold. Which performs great with low electrical cap values. Avoid cheap knock off‘s and go with quality USA engineering👍
