This type of load is seen throughout the USA these days as railroads move a variety of materials around the country. Often there is contaminated dirt or other materials susceptible to wind dispersion under the tarps. This Cast Resin load is hand-made and hand finished in the USA as HAY BROTHERS part number 7009-37. There are 3 different molds (profiles) used to make these loads (please see photos). We also manufacture this load in many other colors: (Orange, White, Tan, Blue, Brown, Olive Drab Green and Light tan are examples). Because this load is hand-made, there may be slight top profile and finishing variances between loads of the same part number. Please note that the load offered in this listing is designed and machined to fit the ATLAS 2743 Thrall Gondola car ONLY. It DOES NOT fit similar cars offered by other manufacturers. Although shown in the photo for reference purposes, the car itself is NOT included in this offer (Just the load...). NOTE: To conserve weight, this load is designed and machined to fit low in the car.
