Description: We bought Candy on auction. Her story was that she was from a toy store and she was a never purchased doll that sat on a shelf gathering dust. She gave the employees many spooky experiences such as hot/cold fluctuates, hearing giggles, seeing a hiding shadow girl and opened bags of candy spilled all over the floor. That is where her name came from. No one wanted to work late because they all feared Candy. A few years back the toy store closed and Candy was among the liquidated items that were sold at the auction. I couldn't resist her, it was her beauty to be honest. People always claim a doll is haunted but you never know until you know! At first, Candy showed no signs of the paranormal. My husband felt her presence but we left her alone until she was ready to make herself known. It was perhaps 3 weeks since she joined our home that I woke up to all my little boy's Easter candy opened and tossed all over the floor of the den. He was so upset, poor thing. That very afternoon I noticed the house heating up, I asked Candy to cool it and she did. My husband decided it was time to do a reading. He got vague images of a young woman baking in what looked like a tiny cottage. She had a large dog with her that she she kept shooing away. He could only get her to answer one question. He asked her if she had a pure heart and she replied "maybe" but she would would not explain or answer any more. He believes she is a spirit that is held back by some kind of poltergeist. The poltergeist does not seem to be harmful (can be annoying at times though) and is not maliciously holding Candy back, it just has a stronger energy. Other activity is Candy tipping her box over, hearing whispers, a vanilla scent at times, the shadow female hiding in the dark corners and she dumped a bag of sugar on the kitchen floor!! My friend brought her dog over and the dog made a beeline to Candy. She must have called to the doggy. She probably misses her own dog. My husband says that it does feel like Candy's energy is growing stronger. She sent him a message that she needs something sweet. So since we have been giving her offerings of baked goods and lemonade and that seems to please her very much. As with all spirits, please be sure to treat them with the utmost respect and kindness.
