Description: Handmade Chimney sweep doll from West Germany. The clothing is made from felt. The hands are made from either plastic or clay from what I can tell. My wife received this as a gift while living with her family in West Germany in the 1970s. The doll will stand on its own, but it takes a little patience to get it balanced. The arms do not move but the feet do move about 90 degrees. Doll is in very good condition. There are a couple of small spots of paint missing on each shoe (see pics). Doll is 10 3/4" tall.
