Small unfinished wood chest that has been stained. The hardware on the box is gold tone. The outside has been accented with pieces of genuine leather and brass brads. It features a hasp clasp w/staple closure with a few skeleton keys to the staple. The lid of the chest is held open by a gold chain (in lieu of a mechanical support). The booty (made up of sequins, pearls, shells, baubles, a trophy, a bejeweled pitcher and crown, and a message in a bottle) all sits on top of a piece of polystyrene and items are glued in place. Please be aware that some of the doubloons may come away as I did not put each one in separately but, I have included a few more in case that occurs.
