Description: Hand crafted military challenge coins. Made while on military deployment to Guantanamo Bay Cuba. These are original coins crafted from a block of clay. Hours have been spent kneading, shaping, sanding, pre-firing, glazing and eventually firing again in an 1800 degree kiln. Many coins did not survive the rigorous 14 step process. The ones that did may have minor character flaws as I only had a short time to explore my talent. There may be slight variations in size and finish. I am using the same photo for multiple coins. Handmade from start to finish on U.S. Naval Base Guantanamo Bay Cuba. I was deployed there in 2019 in support of JTF GTMO. This is not your cookie cutter boring metal stamped challenge coin. The end result is a beautiful, durable, hardened, porcelain coin. This is an original and unique piece of history crafted by a U.S. sailor.
