Most pens like these are glued together, I take the extra steps to solder the inner upper and lower tubes for a pen that will last forever. Because these are used cases some imperfections(scratches, dings) can be seen. I take the extra time to highly polish the shell and cases to make them as perfect as possible. Over time the brass can tarnish, using brass polish they will look new again. Uses standard cross style refill, available at any office supply store (Staples or Office Depot).
