Description: beautiful hand carved Inuit antler, it appears to be either reindeer antler or caribou antler based on the low flat brachial shape. Scene features what appears to be a mermaid fishing for whales with one whale breaching the surface on a line and another smaller caught whale already trussed on the ice. Beautifully carved and self standing. Excellent condition, has one small blue mark on the breaching whale (i have not tried to clean it) SIGNED CHRIS ALILA on bottom of piece. MEASUREMENTS 18.5" x 6.25"
