Description: H is For Heroin David Hulburd Popular Library Iconic Rafael DeSoto GGA cover '53. A Teen-Age Narcotic Tells Her Story. Complete and Unabridged. This is Amy Burton talking...Dope always gives you a raw deal. Take it from me. I know. I'm only seventeen but I married Eddy because he gives me heroin. We're both hooked good - like most of our teen-age crowd. This is my story - and it's not a pretty one - of how Eddy and I ran heroin across the border to get a "fix" and of all the other things we did while we were on "H". "The book illustrates in stark fashion the ugly problem that confronts the American home-that of the teen-age narcotics addict. Related in the strange gibberish used by young addicts, it provides brutal but vital reading." This little book is in overall very good condition. There's some wear, mostly scuffing to the cover, but the binding is tight and there are no loose, torn or missing pages and all pages turn freely. The pages are free of marks or writing in pen, pencil, crayon, marker and highlighter. In addition, the corners are in good shape and not curled and folded/dog-eared. Inside pages are nice and clean and not badly stained by age. The book has not been exposed to moisture and does not have an unpleasant smell. It has been stored inside of a plastic tote and comes from a smoke-free home.
