Description: Considered by many to be H. H. Scott’s finest stereo amplifier, this rare beauty is Serial Number 1008541. The “SCOTTKIT ASSEMBLED BY” sticker shows J. G. Forsythe, as the original owner, with the date 11/25/64. Following my purchase, the unit was sent to Craig Ostby at NOS Valves for complete checkup and refurbishment. As expected, he did his usual great work. Nearing its 60th birthday, this amp appears to almost new, with very minor signs of use. It has been used by me with its partner components regularly but infrequently. It is a wonderful piece, and would complement any H. H. Scott collection, large or small. I’m paring my collection down to only those few pieces I use the most. Reluctantly. This is a heavy piece, weighing about 50 pounds.
