GunVault SVB500 SpeedVault with Biometric Fingerprint Scanner (No Keys)

Description: PLEASE READ THIS FIRSTThis GunVault SVB500 mountable gun safe with bio metric fingerprint technology is unlocked. So you can program it with your finger and unlock it that way. However, I lost the physical keys to unlock the safe, so if the finger scanner does not work, you won't have they keys to unlock it. You can go to their website and request replacement keys, but there is no guarantee they will have them in stock. The bio metric scanner is powered by a single 9V battery. So if that goes out while locked, you won't get in without the key. The issue with replacing the battery is, the battery compartment is inside the gun safe. So if it goes out, you have to open it in order to replace the battery. Please be aware of these potential issues before purchasing. Please read the full description below and watch the included video before purchasing. One other thing to note, I mentioned in the video the keys cost under $10. I was incorrect, according to their website, it is $20 to order replacement keys. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I have a GunVault SpeedVault SVB-500 bio metric gun safe. Main color is black, it is made of heavy gauge steel and was made in China with UPC 751077123269. The box shows it has a 5 year full warranty, though I do not know how much of that is available for this specific gun vault. It has a bio metric fingerprint scanner and a backup with a key entry. However, I do not have the keys for this SpeedVault, I lost them over time. The good news is, the bio fingerprint scanner is unlocked and not set to a fingerprint. So you can press the button on the front and it will unlock the gun vault, allowing you to go ahead and program your bio signature. It takes a single 9V battery, which is already installed and there is a backup battery as well, as seen in the listing photos. It has the mounting bracket and the mounting screws, again as seen in the listing photos. I went on the GunVault website and you can submit a ticket requesting replacement keys. If they have them, it costs $20 for the replacement keys I thought it was less, but it specifically says $20 on their website. Do note, they may NOT have the replacement keys in stock. So you may not be able to get a new copy of the keys through the company. Maybe you can find someone who is selling a pair online somewhere. Or maybe there is a generic key that will work with this gun safe. But again, there is no guarantee you can purchase replacement keys from the GunVault company. I also do not have the owners manual for this SpeedVault SVB500. But, if you search for it online, you can find the digital copy of it to help you program the bio metric part of this gun vault. This item is open box used, with the box having some wear and tear from being in storage. The gun safe itself also has some wear and tear, mainly just some scratches and markings. You can see what I mean in the video I added to this listing. The video shows me unlocking the vault, as well as showing the cosmetic condition. But it is still in good condition and verified working. You can review the photos provided for this listing to get a better idea of the overall look and condition of this item.
